Soo last time i updated i was working at a games studio, During my time there i was lighting the game level in three different stages. I struggled for a long time to try and find a way to bake global illumination as well as the light into the texture however i was unable to find a way. Ofc now the games done and im no longer working on the project i figure it out.
After doing a load of research i decided to just fake the global illumination with extra lights that would emulate the light bouncing off the wall or floor. However now i know that it is possible to bake it by selecting the correct settings.
I was originally using Brute Force for the primary bounces and Light cache for secondary these setting will not bake Global Illumination however if you use Irratance Map for primary and Light Cache for the secondary it will.. I did alot of research and couldnt find any information on this.
